Incorporating native pine images, 96 handmade tiles surround firebox and create decorative edging on the slate hearth. Commissioned by Upham Woods, a 4-H enviromental camp near Wisconisn Dells, WI for the main meeting hall.
Fireplace surround 6′ wide, 4′ tall.
Hearth of handpicked slate and hand made tile 10.5′ long, 2′ wide.
Mantel of pine, created and finished to match existing trim and style 11′ long, 6″ deep.
Fireplace tile, hearth and mantle created and installed by artist.
